|Welcome to my Website|
I am delighted to share with you some of my work and projects both past and present. I am a composer for theatre and media, with a particular love of musical theatre, and write a lot of new musicals and scores for plays, film, radio, TV and dance.
I am honoured to currently be the holder of the Cameron Mackintosh Resident Composer Scheme award, and am resident composer at both the Mercury Theatre, Colchester, and the New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich, for the year. I have written a blog post about my time as Resident Composer so far, which can be found here.
We are currently rehearsing for Wind in the Willows at the Mercury Theatre - a joyful, lively, rumbunctious version of the classic tale for eight actor-musicians. Wind in the WIllows opens on the 29th July and details can be found here.
Also in the pipeline later in the year will be The Twits at the New Wolsey, Much Ado About Nothing at the Mercury. I will be working on James and the Giant Peach at Watford Palace with Hertfordshire Youth Theatre and the year will be rounded off with The Night Before Christmas with Full House.
I am also working on developing My Lifeat the moment, a new contemporary musical version of the Faust legend. Following fruitful workshops at the New Wolsey in January a complete draft will be ready soon.
Further updates and sneak previews of music can be found on my Facebook page.
