Classical Works

Being composer in residence at Hills Road Sixth Form College in Cambridge, and Wellington College in Berkshire, has provided some great opportunities for me to be able to compose for choir and for orchestra. Choral composition is a particular interest and works include a Requiem for choir, soloists and chamber orchestra and a selection of carols and liturgical settings.  The Dream Canvas is a tone poem for symphony orchestra, inspired by the painting 'The Stuff that Dreams are Made of' by John Anster Fitzgerald (see picture).  My setting of the Lord's Prayer for Broomwood Hall School won their competition, and was performed at the school service at Southwark Cathedral.
